How to create and connect a Binance API key to RealColibri
This guide explains how to create a Binance API key and connect it to RealColibri for automated trading.
- Sign up for Binance
- Complete KYC (identity verification)
- In the upper Wallet menu, go to the Futures section
- Open a futures wallet by clicking on the Open Now button
- Go to the API Management section
- Click on the Create API button
- Come up with a name (e.g. RealColibri), click Next and confirm the operation
- Copy the API Key and Secret Key to a secure location
- Click Edit Restrictions
- Click on Restrict access to trusted IPs only (recommended), enter 65.2.84.75 (RealColibri IP address) and confirm
- Check the following boxes: Enable Margin Loan, Repay & Transfer, Enable European Options, Enable Spot & Margin Trading, Enable Futures, Permits Universal Transfer and save the changes
- On the RealColibri website go to Crypto>Binance
- Add API keys by clicking on + icon
- Paste the API Key and Secret Key and click Connect
Never share your API secret key. Store it securely and use IP restrictions.
